Maulana Azad English School was established in the year 2001 and got recognized by Government on 2003 and is located on a small plot of land in the centre of Dharavi in Mumbai city. The School is divided into three distinct schools (Nursery, Primary& Secondary) each school having its high class and modern teaching facilities.

The school syllabus is as per the Board of Secondary Education, Maharashtra state. It is managed by Maulana Abul kalam Azad Education Trust (Dharavi).
